**Race Studio 2.30 offers some significant changes aqnd improvements to both the configuration and analysis modules of the Race Studio 2. You are STRONGLY urged to download and read the improvements document below.
If you have already have a MyChron3 USB download cable, click the appropriate link above for your model of MyChron3. Once you have the installer downloaded to your PC, you can upload the new firmware to your MyChron3 in seconds with the same cable (see directions below - "Easy Installation").
1) Download the Firmware Updater program for your MyChron3.
2) Check the battery voltage on your MyChron3. To upgrade the firmware, the battery voltage must be 2.7 volts or higher on the MyChron3 Basic / Basic 2T, and 7.5 volts of higher on the MyChron3 Plus and Gold. You can check the voltage by turning on the gauge and pressing the ON/View button twice, the voltage will display in the lower right corner.
3) Run the firmware update program on your PC and follow the instructions on the screen.

Upgrade at the Track
When you see them at the races, ask any of our Technical Support reps to update it for you, ask one of our dealers, or ask a buddy who has the USB cable.
